Dogs Splash at West Palm Beach Waterparks: Waggin' at the Waterpark

West Palm Beach dog owners can bring their canine companions to two county waterparks next month for a special swim event. Calypso Bay Waterpark and Coconut Cove Waterpark will host "Waggin' at the Waterpark," allowing dogs to enjoy the water and socialize.

The event aims to promote wellness for pets and owners by encouraging connections and community bonding. Dogs can get exercise and meet new friends. Owners may also connect with fellow attendees.

Sessions are scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, and are divided by dog size. At Calypso Bay Waterpark, 151 Lamstein Lane in Royal Palm Beach, and Coconut Cove Waterpark, 20130 Regional Park Drive in Boca Raton, dogs weighing 45 pounds and up will swim from 10 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. and again from noon to 12:50 p.m. Smaller dogs, under 45 pounds, will swim from 11 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.

Registration opens at 9 a.m. on the event day and will reopen 30 minutes before each session, space permitting. Owners must sign a waiver upon registration. Submitting registration forms and proof of vaccinations in advance is recommended.

The fee is $11 per dog; humans are admitted free. Each adult may bring a maximum of two dogs. All dogs must have proof of current rabies, DHLP, and Bordetella vaccinations on site and must wear a collar and license in the pool area. Additional rules are available on the waterpark websites.
