The National Weather Service (NWS) Las Vegas has issued this warning, which is effective from late tonight through Tuesday morning. Frost and freeze conditions are expected to kill crops, other sensitive vegetation, and could damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
To prevent damage, take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. Additionally, to prevent water pipes from freezing, residents should wrap or drain pipes, or allow them to drip slowly.
