Severe Weather Batters Midwest as 50M Brace for Tornadoes, Hail
More than 50 million Americans across a 1,500-mile corridor from Texas to Michigan face an ongoing severe weather onslaught, with at least 14 tornadoes already confirmed and damaging winds reaching 88 mph. A Level 3 enhanced risk remains in effect through Wednesday as storms continue to shift south, threatening major cities including Chicago, Detroit, and Oklahoma City.
