The City of Clearwater Community Development Board approved a new radiology building at 2650 Landmark Drive. The development, designated FLD2009-02002B, falls under a Flexible Development permit within the Institutional (I) District as a Comprehensive Infill Redevelopment Project. This will bring medical services closer to residents, including those in historic downtown New Port Richey.
The radiology building will not exceed 50 feet in height and includes 148 off-street parking spaces. The board granted flexibility for reduced parking based on a submitted parking demand study, as allowed by Community Development Code Section 2-1204.A.
The board considered the item during its meeting on Thursday, August 20, 2026. The application was part of the consent agenda, indicating staff deemed it routine.
The project is a Level Two Application requiring detailed review and a public hearing. The approval allows for the development of medical services within the existing Institutional district, supporting redevelopment efforts.
