Wind Advisory Issued: Secure Outdoor Objects, Gusts Up To 50 MPH Expected
A Wind Advisory has been issued by the NWS for Monongalia, Preston, and Tucker Counties, effective until Sunday, October 11 at 11:00 AM EDT, with gusts up to 50 MPH expected; residents should secure outdoor objects and report any downed trees or power lines.
Residents in Monongalia, Preston, and Tucker Counties are advised to secure outdoor objects immediately, as a Wind Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) in Pittsburgh, PA. The advisory is effective from now until 11:00 AM EDT on Sunday, October 11.
Southeast winds of 20 to 35 mph are expected, with gusts between 40 to 50 mph. This advisory impacts Eastern Preston, Eastern Tucker, Monongalia, Preston, Ridges of Eastern Monongalia and Northwestern Preston, and Western Tucker Counties.
