Residents of Monongalia County should secure outdoor objects immediately. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Pittsburgh, PA, has issued a Wind Advisory, effective from 8:00 PM EDT tonight, October 10, until 11:00 AM EDT Sunday, October 11.

Southeast winds are expected to reach 15 to 25 mph, with gusts between 40 to 50 mph. These gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects, and tree limbs may be blown down. Isolated power outages are also possible.

The NWS advises residents to take action to secure any loose items outside their homes or businesses. If you observe downed trees, power lines, or large branches, report them by calling 412-262-1988, posting to the NWS Pittsburgh Facebook page, or using X @NWSPittsburgh.
