SWEETWATER, FL – The City of Sweetwater Police Department confirmed it experienced a cybersecurity breach on November 15, 2024. The department restored systems within several hours and is investigating the full scope with local, state, and federal partners.

Essential services, including emergency response, remained fully operational and unaffected throughout the incident. The department has maintained its ability to serve and protect the community.
