Day.News reports that a Dust Advisory for parts of Maricopa and Pinal Counties, issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) Phoenix, has officially expired. The advisory was initially issued today, October 4, 2026, at 1:41 PM MST and was set to expire at 1:45 PM MST, though the NWS confirmed its expiration shortly thereafter.
The NWS Phoenix stated that the blowing dust which prompted the advisory has dissipated. Therefore, the Dust Advisory has been allowed to expire.
Residents in the affected areas are advised that conditions related to this specific dust event have cleared.
