A Tropical Cyclone Local Statement issued by the National Weather Service in Mobile, AL at 1:22 AM CDT on October 10 indicates Post-Tropical Cyclone Isaias, with 65 mph winds, is moving north through southern Alabama. Residents in affected areas should prepare for potential damaging winds, especially east of the Alabama River (excluding Baldwin County), which could cause downed trees, power lines, and widespread power outages. Coastal Okaloosa County faces life-threatening storm surge with potential inundation, road washouts, and significant beach erosion.
