Elaine Kay Conforti, a Lake Worth Beach resident known for her vibrant spirit and community involvement, died Sept. 25, 2026. She was 86.

Conforti enjoyed life in Florida and cherished memories of Nantucket. She participated in community events, bowled and pursued creative interests including cooking, painting and writing poetry.

Her husband, Nicholas J. Conforti, died in 2024. She is survived by her sons, Mark Crain of Rogersville, Tennessee, and Brian Crain of Ocklawaha, Florida. She also leaves behind stepchildren Sarah, Carrie, Michael, Philip and Nicholas, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Conforti also maintained a close relationship with her niece, Sharon Cox of Michigan.
