No Gun Found After Fivay High Football Game Evacuation

Deputies evacuated Fivay High School's football stadium Wednesday after receiving a report of an armed student. A thorough search found no weapon, and the game resumed.

Pasco Sheriff's Office deputies evacuated Fivay High School's stadium Wednesday night after a report of an armed student, but found no weapon after searching the facility.

Deputies received the report around 8:45 p.m. on Aug. 21 during the football game in Hudson. Officials suspended play and cleared the stadium. After interviewing the student and searching the grounds, investigators determined no gun was present.

The sheriff's office did not release the student's name or say whether it will file charges related to the false report.
