Hollywood Road Resurfacing Projects Begin October 19
Hollywood begins three major road resurfacing projects starting October 19, with work scheduled during nighttime hours through year-end.

The City of Hollywood starts work next week on three resurfacing projects funded through the 2026 Surtax Improvement Program.
Weekley Asphalt, Inc. begins milling and resurfacing Hollywood Boulevard on October 19, working from east of City Hall Circle to 28th Avenue. The contractor will work Sunday through Thursday, 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., with completion targeted for December 31.
Basile USA, Inc. starts the N 32nd Avenue project the same day, covering the stretch from Hollywood Boulevard to Johnson Street. That work wraps up by November 23.
A third project on N 68th Avenue, from Taft Street to Stirling Road, begins November 2 with Basile USA, also finishing by December 30.
