Florida's Margaritaville License Plate Named Number 1 by Collectors Association

Florida's distinctive Margaritaville specialty license plate has been officially recognized as the best. Members of the Automobile License Plate Collectors Association (ALPCA) voted the Sunshine State's Margaritaville tag as the Number 1 plate in their annual selection.

The announcement, made in Tallahassee, Florida, highlighted the plate's popularity among collectors and the public. The ALPCA, a national organization for license plate collecting, conducted a nomination and voting process among its members to determine the top design.

Specialty license plates allow drivers to personalize their vehicles, often supporting specific causes or state symbols. Florida offers a wide array of specialty plates, from environmental themes to collegiate and professional sports affiliations. The Margaritaville plate, with its tropical imagery and laid-back theme, has clearly resonated with many.

This recognition by ALPCA members underscores the plate's aesthetic appeal and its success in capturing the spirit of its namesake.
