New Lake Wales Tag & Title Service Opens

Haines City residents now have an additional option for vehicle registration, title transfers, and parking placard services closer to home. Express Auto Tags of Lake Wales, located at 24174 Highway 27, Suite 700, is now open.

The new service center is part of an expanding partnership between the Polk County Tax Collector and Dealer Services Network (DSN), aiming to provide more convenient motor vehicle services across the county.

Express Auto Tags offers extended operating hours: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays. The agency welcomes both walk-in customers and those who schedule appointments.

Polk County Tax Collector Joe G. Tedder said the partnership strategically locates offices throughout the county to reduce the workload at Tax Collector offices and offer citizens more convenient options. "Their extended hours until 6 p.m., along with Saturday morning availability, provide even greater flexibility and convenience for the people we serve," Tedder stated.

The partnership also helps control government costs and expands customer choice. "Most importantly, it gives citizens more options for completing their transaction at times that might even fit better into their schedules," he added.

Customers should note that Express Auto Tags is a privately operated agency and charges additional service fees. Residents can find more information about services and locations on the provided website.
