Lauderdale-By-The-Sea Voters Face 8 Charter Amendments

Lauderdale-By-The-Sea residents will vote on eight proposed amendments to the Town Charter during the General Election on Nov. 3, 2026. The Charter Review Board recommended the amendments, and the Town Commission subsequently reviewed and adopted them.

The Town Commission passed the ordinance enacting these amendments on May 26, 2026, following a first reading on May 12, 2026. The specific text of each amendment will be available to voters ahead of the election through official town channels.
