Dense Fog Advisory for Coastal Del Norte, Northern Humboldt until 9 AM

Drivers in Coastal Del Norte and Northern Coastal Humboldt are advised to slow down and use headlights this morning due to a Dense Fog Advisory. The National Weather Service (NWS) Eureka CA issued the advisory at 4:46 AM PDT today, October 6, effective until 9:00 AM PDT.

Visibility is reported to be less than one-quarter mile in patchy dense fog throughout the affected areas. The NWS warns that fog will be patchy, and visibility may change dramatically. These conditions could make driving hazardous.

Residents traveling this morning should allow extra time to reach their destinations. The NWS instructs drivers to slow down, use their headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of them.
