A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for coastal areas of Clatsop, Tillamook, Lincoln, and Lane Counties in Oregon, as well as the Pacific County coast in Washington. The National Weather Service in Portland, Oregon, issued the advisory effective immediately until 10:00 AM PDT today, October 8, 2026.

Drivers should slow down and maintain extra distance between vehicles due to visibility of one quarter mile or less in dense fog. Pedestrians and cyclists are advised to wear bright or reflective clothing to enhance visibility for others in these hazardous conditions.

The affected areas include the Clatsop County Coast, Tillamook County Coast, Central Coast of Oregon, and the South Washington Coast. Residents in these regions should exercise extreme caution when traveling this morning.
