Senior Nutrition Programs includes: Senior Dining Centers Home Delivered Meals NEW! Restaurant-model dining Programs provide nutritious meals meeting one third of recommended dietary needs to persons 60+ in Waukesha County. The menu is developed by a registered dietician and is the same for both programs. August 2026 Menu September 2026 Menu My Meal My Way Menu - "the" Kitchen "My Meal, My Way" - ADRC of Waukesha County Senior Dining Senior Dining Eligibility and Registration Senior Dining Centers are at five (5) sites throughout Waukesha County. Social, recreational, and educational activities are also provided at the dining center. Eligibility: Senior Dining Centers are open to individuals age 60 or older and their spouse, regardless of spouse's age. Registration: Reservations are required. Please call the dining center where you wish to eat no later than 11:00am the business day prior. If the dining center is closed, call the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Waukesha County (ADRC) at (262) 548-7826. Transportation to the dining centers may be available through the ADRC Shared-Fare Taxi and RideLine programs for $2.00 each way. This fare subsidy must be authorized in advance. Call the ADRC at (262) 548-7848 for more information. Limited government grants cover a part of the meal costs. We accept confidential donations at each dining center. The suggested minimum contribution is $5.00. No eligible client will be denied a meal because of inability to contribute. My Meal, My Way (the restaurant-model) Location: “the” Kitchen restaurant - N64W23316 Main St, Sussex, WI53089.Every Tuesday 10AM-1PM. No reservation required. How It Works when you arrive at "the" Kitchen in Sussex: Sign in with My Meal, My Way program staff. Place your contribution in the My Meal, My Way contribution box. Staff will give you a My Meal, My Way menu. Staff will come to your table to take your order Eligibility: All adults age 60+ (and spouses regardless of age) are welcome If someone under age 60 is joining you, they will order from the standard menu and pay separately. Contribution: Suggested minimum contribution is $5.00. Your contribution is appreciated. No eligible person will be turned away for an inability to contribute. Meal cost paid by Waukesha County Senior Nutrition Program, inclusive of tip. No Registration Required! This program happens Every Tuesday, from 10a-1p. Home Delivered Meals The Home Delivered Meals program provides a hot lunch meal to frail and homebound older adults who are unable to prepare their own meal (and meet other qualifications). Meals are delivered between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Program participant must be present to accept the meal at delivery. Volunteers deliver the meals and provide a wellness check for homebound individuals. Application and Assessment You can apply for home delivered meals program, by calling (262) 548-7848. Staff will ask for information needed to complete an application form. The ADRC will process the request and schedule an in-home assessment. The assessment provides information to determine if the person meets the eligibility requirements for meals to begin. The applicant will be notified once eligibility is determined. Funding and Donations Funding helps support the cost of meals. Voluntary contributions from participants help us continue serving older adults throughout the community. A suggested minimum contribution of $6.00 per meal is discussed during the in-home assessment. Contributions to help offset the cost of meals are essential to maintaining nutrition services for our community’s older adults. A monthly donation statement is mailed to the client indicating the approximate value of the meals served and a confidential contribution can be mailed to the ADRC office. No eligible client will be denied service because of inability to contribute. For more information on Home Delivered Meals, call us at (262) 548-7848. Virtual Dining Club If you are receiving Home Delivered Meals, you can join a virtual Dining Club from your smartphone, tablet, or computer every Wednesday, 11:45a-12:45p. Make a Contribution to Home Delivered Meals Make a Contribution to the Waukesha County Home Delivered Meals Program. Contributions help offset the cost of meals and are essential to maintaining services for our community’s older adults. A non-refundable fee is required for each area being reserved. These reservations are taken online, but first you'll need to create an account on our Recreation Signup Page, then click on Catalog off to the right, then Facility Reservations. Once your account is created, you'll be able to check date availability, make your reservation and submit payment by credit card ... all online! If you need assistance, please call (262)-782-6700. Reservations are taken on a first come, first served basis beginning the first working day in January (for residents) or the first working day in May (non-residents). An alcohol permit for beer and/or wine coolers must be completed if either will be consumed in the park. You can print the permit when completing your reservation, it must be signed and approved by Village Hall prior to your event. The park is open 5:00 am to 11:00 pm. The Pavilion picnic area is a covered structure located near the pool and playground, with a large charcoal grill. The rental fee is for up to 150 people: $175.00 for residents/$350.00 non-residents + tax The Gazebo picnic area is an uncovered grassy picnic area featuring a quaint, white gazebo, located on the south end of the park, with a charcoal grill. The rental fee is for up to 50 people: $75.00 for residents/$150.00 non-residents + tax The Pool/Splash Pad can be reserved for private parties on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays from 6:30-9:30 PM.
