Duval County consumers should check their pantries for recalled Gatorade products. PepsiCo voluntarily recalled 122,021 cases of the sports drink due to undeclared ingredients.
The Class II recall, announced by the Food and Drug Administration on Oct. 2, affects 28-ounce bottles of Lemon Lime, Lemon Lime Zero, Orange, and Orange Zero Gatorade. These products contain undeclared Yellow No. 6 and Yellow No. 5, food colorings that can cause adverse reactions in some individuals.
The recall impacts specific production dates and lot codes. Consumers can identify affected products by checking these lot numbers:

The recalled beverages were distributed in 37 states, including Florida. Consumers who purchased the affected products should not consume them and should contact the manufacturer for disposal or reimbursement instructions.
