Dunedin Water Restrictions Extended to March 2027
Dunedin's Phase 3 water shortage restrictions have been extended through March 31, 2027, limiting potable water irrigation to four hours on assigned days. Reclaimed water use remains unaffected.
Dunedin residents will continue to adhere to watering restrictions as the Southwest Florida Water Management District extended Phase 3 water shortage measures through March 31, 2027. These measures aim to conserve water resources for communities from historic downtown to neighborhoods near Caladesi Island State Park.
Under Phase 3, Dunedin water customers may irrigate landscapes for a maximum of four hours on their assigned watering day. This limitation applies only to potable water usage.
The restrictions will not affect irrigation using reclaimed water. Residents with reclaimed water systems are exempt from the four-hour limit on their assigned watering days.
