A Storm Surge Warning has been issued for Southern Hancock County, effective immediately, by the National Weather Service in New Orleans, LA. Residents in Kiln, Pearlington, Bay St. Louis, Diamondhead, and Waveland should prepare for life-threatening storm surge flooding of 3-5 feet above ground through Saturday morning.
Evacuation efforts and flood preparations must be completed now. Leave immediately if evacuation orders are given for your area to avoid being cut off from emergency services.
