Municipal Court | Departments Municipal Court Our court seeks to ensure accessibility, fairness, and courtesy in the administration of justice, with dignity and respect for all, without regard to race, sex, or religion, and abiding by all applicable guidelines and laws while maintaining full compliance with the directives of the Administrative Office of Courts. The Luverne Municipal Court has jurisdiction over misdemeanors, traffic offenses, City Code violations, and parking tickets occurring within the city limits or the police jurisdiction of the City of Luverne. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Luverne Municipal Court is held on the last Wednesday of each month at 1:30 p.m WE DO NOT HOLD COURT IN DECEMBER ALL NON-TRAFFIC OFFENSES REQUIRE A COURT APPEARANCE If you do not know whether or not your citation requires a court appearance, you may contact the Court at 334-335-3741 FOR CITATIONS NOT REQUIRING A COURT APPEARANCE: Appear at Luverne City Hall, enter a plea of guilty, and make payment in the form of cash, cashier's check or money order. -OR- Mail payment in the form of a cashier's check or money order along with a plea of guilty found on the back of the citation to the following: Luverne Municipal Court, P.O.
