This means tropical storm-force winds are possible within these areas within the next 48 hours. Residents should begin preparations immediately.
The NWS forecasts peak winds of 25-35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph, with potential for winds of 58 to 73 mph. Significant damage to roofing, siding, and outbuildings is possible.
