CDC Reports First U.S. Cases of Emerging Fungal Infection, Candida auris
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has reported the first thirteen cases of Candida auris (C. auris) in the United States. C. auris is a fungal infection that has emerged globally and is sometimes fatal.
