Freeze Warning for Northern Minnesota, Northeastern North Dakota Has Expired
A Freeze Warning for parts of northern Minnesota and northeastern North Dakota, issued by the NWS Grand Forks, has expired as of 9:00 AM CDT, October 2. Temperatures are rising in the affected areas.
The Freeze Warning issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) in Grand Forks, ND, for parts of northern Minnesota and northeastern North Dakota has now expired as of 9:00 AM CDT, October 2.
Temperatures, which had been low, have reportedly risen into the mid to upper 30s and are expected to continue climbing throughout the morning.
Areas previously under this warning included Roseau, Lake Of The Woods, East Marshall, North Beltrami, Pennington, Red Lake, East Polk, North Clearwater, Mahnomen, and South Clearwater counties in Minnesota. In North Dakota, Towner, Cavalier, Ramsey, and Western Walsh counties were also affected.
No further action is required at this time due to the expiration of the warning. Residents in these areas should continue to monitor local weather forecasts for any subsequent alerts or changes in conditions.
