**Special Weather Statement issued September 18 at 3:26PM EDT by NWS Miami FL**

At 326 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking a strong thunderstorm over Loop Road Ee Center, or 23 miles east of Chokoloskee, moving northeast at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include... Loop Road Ee Center, Dade-Collier Training Airport, Fortymile Bend, Big Cypress National Preserve, and Everglades National Park.
