The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls, SD, issued the warning at 3:05 AM CDT. At the time of issuance, a severe thunderstorm was located over Larrabee, approximately 8 miles north of Cherokee, moving east at 40 mph.
The primary hazard associated with this storm is quarter-size hail. Radar indicated this hazard. Damage to vehicles is expected.
The storm is expected to be near Larrabee around 3:05 AM CDT.
