At 2:21 AM CDT, the National Weather Service Sioux Falls SD reported a severe thunderstorm located 6 miles southwest of Granville, or 8 miles southeast of Orange City. The storm is moving east at 30 mph.
Impacts from this storm are expected to include damage to vehicles due to the large hail. The thunderstorm is anticipated to be near Marcus around 2:35 AM CDT and Cleghorn around 2:40 AM CDT.
For your safety, move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Report severe weather to your nearest law enforcement agency or the National Weather Service office in Sioux Falls SD.
