Staff Professional Development Professional Learning Home Our Mission The goal of the Professional Learning department is to improve teacher quality and meet the requirement to have all core subject area teachers highly qualified; provide professional development that improves the knowledge of teachers, principals, administrators and staff; increase student achievement and eliminate the achievement gap; recruit and retain highly qualified teachers; provide induction and mentoring programs for new teachers; and facilitate leadership development for administrators.
