Utility Billing

Welcome to the City of Pilot Point's Utility Billing and Collection Department. We are dedicated to providing prompt, superior customer service through billing consistency and accuracy. We are the principal business office of the City and are responsible for the billing and collection efforts for water, sewer, trash and drainage fees. This includes responding to customer concerns and issues, enforcing non- or late-payment practices and managing changes to the customer database. Services The services provided by the department include: Initiation and disconnection of utility accounts Monthly reading of water meters Monthly billing of water, sewer, trash and drainage Collection of utility payments through various methods After Hours Emergency If you are experiencing a water/sewer emergency, please call 940-368-0985. You will be connected with the person on-call from Public Works. Lead Service Line FAQs As required by the EPA and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the City, along with subcontractor Hardin & Associates, completed a full survey of all water service lines over the last few months. The survey was required to be completed by October 14. From this survey, four properties in town were identified and the property owners were notified of lead in their service lines between the water meter and their house. This data is now part of the information in our GIS map. Other properties were identified as having galvanized lines, and it is recommended to follow the same safety procedures. We want to assure everyone that the City’s water is safe to drink. Those at affected properties are recommended to routinely clean the aerators on their faucets, run the water for a few minutes prior to using it to cook or consume, and avoiding use of hot water in cooking. Replacement of these service lines is recommended by the EPA. Questions about how this affects your drinking water? See our FAQ on this subject

We've had more than 5,000 people in attendance and we are working to make that number even larger this year. We are bringing back all of the old favorites including: Activities for the children Tribute bands on the Main Stage Pro Wrestling Match Model A cars We are also bringing some new activities that are sure to impress. Reserve your spot now to ensure that you will have excellent access to the crowds throughout the day. Many of our vendors last year were pleasantly surprised with the amount of sales they had over the course of the day, and some even ran out of merchandise and supplies before closing time. Online vendor registration will open in late summer.Sincerely, Jennifer NealPhone: 940-293-7434
