You will be connected with the person on-call from Public Works. Lead Service Line FAQs As required by the EPA and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the City, along with subcontractor Hardin & Associates, completed a full survey of all water service lines over the last few months. The survey was required to be completed by October 14. From this survey, four properties in town were identified and the property owners were notified of lead in their service lines between the water meter and their house. This data is now part of the information in our GIS map. Other properties were identified as having galvanized lines, and it is recommended to follow the same safety procedures. We want to assure everyone that the City’s water is safe to drink. Those at affected properties are recommended to routinely clean the aerators on their faucets, run the water for a few minutes prior to using it to cook or consume, and avoiding use of hot water in cooking. Replacement of these service lines is recommended by the EPA. Questions about how this affects your drinking water? See our FAQ on this subject

City Council Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM at the City Hall.
We envision downtown Pilot Point as the heart of the community; where history is preserved, business thrives, and visitors feel welcome. We work diligently to bring visitors and residents alike to downtown to shop, eat and enjoy their time in Pilot Point. We offer festivals in downtown, ranging from the wildly-popular Bonnie & Clyde Days and Christmas on the Square to our modest Pilot Point Markets. All are invited to come enjoy our events.
