Weaverville Water Outage Set for March 19: Pleasant Grove Road Area to Lose Service 9 A.M.–5 P.M.

RESCHEDULED: Weaverville Water Customers in Pleasant Grove Area to Experience Service Interruption March 19

Weaverville water customers residing in the Pleasant Grove Road area, just north of Asheville, should prepare for a planned service interruption on March 19, 2026. The Town of Weaverville Public Works department announced the rescheduling of maintenance work to install a water line tee and three valves.

The interruption is scheduled to occur between 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. During these hours, residents in the affected areas may experience low or no water pressure. Service is expected to be fully restored by 5:00 P.M. on March 19.

The specific roads impacted by this maintenance include:

  • Pleasant Grove Road
  • Sugg Trail
  • Upper Grove Lane
  • Woodbriar Road
  • Forestwood Road
  • Driscoll Way
  • Uppergrove Lane
  • Thistlewood Court
  • Woodthorn Road
  • Blevins Road

Should any property still be experiencing a water outage by 7:00 p.m. on March 19th, residents are advised to contact Weaverville Public Works at (828) 645-0606. The office number will automatically re-route to an on-call service after regular business hours to assist with any lingering issues.

This essential maintenance is part of ongoing efforts to improve and maintain the town's water infrastructure.
