Apopka Water Testing Lapse Notified to Residents

The City of Apopka notified its water customers of a procedural lapse in recent routine water quality testing. The city collected water samples 11 days past the designated quarterly testing window.

While the collected samples met all required water quality standards, the city is obligated to inform residents about the delay. Officials confirmed no immediate action is required from residents.

The city is implementing new protocols to improve scheduling, monitoring, and accountability in its water quality testing procedures. These measures aim to strengthen city processes and ensure continued high water quality.
