Apopka Water Testing Missed Deadline, Review Underway

APOPKA – The City of Apopka notified its water customers that routine water quality testing samples were collected 11 days outside the designated quarterly window. Although the collected samples met all required water quality standards, the city is obligated to inform residents of the procedural lapse.

City officials stated that residents need take no immediate action. The city is strengthening internal procedures to improve scheduling, monitoring, and accountability for future water quality testing. This effort aims to prevent similar occurrences and ensure continued regulatory compliance.
