Peak winds are forecast to be 10-20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph, but tropical storm force winds of 39-57 mph are possible. Efforts to protect property should be underway now. Limited damage to structures like porches, carports, and mobile homes is possible, along with downed tree limbs and scattered power outages.
A Flood Watch is in effect, with an additional 2-4 inches of rain expected, leading to potential major flooding. Emergency plans should include the possibility of evacuations and rescues. Heed all flood watches and warnings.
