on January 22, 1904, during a performance of the musical "Mister Dooley" at the Park Theater (Youngstown, Ohio), a disagreement between the clarinet player and the orchestra conductor degenerated into a brawl, with the clarinet being used as a bludgeon. Some audience members fled, while others interceded.
