A comprehensive strategy known as Church Advance is being implemented to support and grow Christian churches within the region and beyond. The initiative, developed by the C&MA (Christian and Missionary Alliance), focuses on enhancing church health and encouraging multiplication to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Church Advance offers a multi-faceted approach to assist local congregations. For new ventures, the strategy involves investing in courageous leaders to plant new churches in new locations, aiming to reach new people with the message of hope. This church planting component is designed to expand the reach of the C&MA's mission.
Existing churches and their leaders can also benefit from the Church Health aspect of the strategy. This involves working collaboratively to assess current church conditions, clarify the vision God has set forth, and develop actionable plans for a more fruitful future. The goal is to help established congregations thrive and fulfill the Great Commission.
Furthermore, Church Advance provides ongoing Leadership Development opportunities for Alliance leaders. These experiences include lifelong learning, participation in coaching networks, and access to practical resources intended to help leaders grow and succeed in both their personal lives and their ministry work.
The overarching vision of Church Advance is to see Alliance churches flourish as they actively engage in their communities and contribute to the global fulfillment of the Great Commission.
