Winter Haven Boil Water Notice After Main Break

Winter Haven residents on Avenue P NW and Avenue R NW must boil their water after an 8-inch water main broke May 26, affecting approximately 50 homes.

City crews completed the repair. The boil water notice remains in effect while officials test water samples to confirm safety. Residents should boil water for one minute before drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes. Bottled water is an alternative.
