The Public Services Specialist is responsible for the smooth operation of the Streets and Parks Departments and is the Borough’s primary point of contact for residents with issues or concerns related to streets, parks, or other Borough infrastructure. They field phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries, investigate issues, and coordinate with the appropriate department or contractor to resolve them. They complete and submit purchase orders, track expenses, and assist with budget preparation. They also work closely with the Borough Engineer and other consultants on capital projects and infrastructure improvements.
