NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Commission of the City of St. Pete Beach, Florida, will hold public hearings to consider the following described Ordinance: ORDINANCE NO. 2024-08 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ST. PETE BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY’S LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE, AS AMENDED; PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENTS TO SECTIONS REGARDING RESIDENTIAL DWELLING UNIT DENSITY, ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS, BUILDING HEIGHT, AND OTHER ZONING MATTERS; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Said hearings will be held in the City Hall Commission Chambers, 155 Corey Avenue, St. Pete Beach, Florida, as follows: Planning Board: Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 6:00 P.M. City Commission – First Reading: Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 6:00 P.M. City Commission – Second Reading and Final Passage: Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 6:00 P.M. Copies of the proposed Ordinance are available for public inspection at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 155 Corey Avenue, St. Pete Beach, Florida. All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed Ordinance. Any person who decides to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
