Winter Haven pickleball players have access to courts at two city facilities: the AdventHealth FieldHouse & Conference Center and the Tennis Center.

At the AdventHealth FieldHouse & Conference Center, players can drop in for pickleball without reservations. The cost is $3.00 per person for all players, including residents, non-residents, seniors 65 and older, and juniors. The facility offers two pickleball courts, with more available during peak times. Open play is scheduled Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to noon.

The Winter Haven Tennis Center features four dedicated pickleball courts. Resident adults pay $2.00 per person, while non-resident adults pay $3.00. Seniors 60 and older, and juniors, pay $1.00. Advance court reservations are available up to 48 hours in advance by calling the Tennis Center at 863-291-5690. Reserved court time runs Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and weekends from noon to 2 p.m.

The Tennis Center also hosts open play sessions grouped by skill level. Players must check in at the Tennis Office for court assignments and skill level assessment. Advanced play (3.5 and higher) is available Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday evenings, also from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., are for players at a 3.5 skill level or lower. Friday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. are open to any level, as are weekend mornings from 8 a.m. to noon.

Tennis Center staff can help players determine their skill level, categorized as Beginner (1.0–2.5), Intermediate (3.0–3.5), and Advanced (4.0+).
