Winter Haven Tennis Center Adds New Courts & Pickleball

The Winter Haven Tennis Center has upgraded its facilities with new clay, hard, and pickleball courts, alongside a pro shop and improved amenities. The center also offers various membership and rental options for players of all ages.

The Winter Haven Tennis Center, located at 209 Ave F NW, has expanded its facilities to include eight Har-Tru clay courts, one hard court and four dedicated pickleball courts. The renovation also features a new pro shop, an elevated shaded observation deck, outdoor seating areas and enhanced parking.

The center offers various membership and fee structures. Non-members can book clay courts for 90 minutes at resident rates of $5 for juniors and $7 for singles; non-residents pay $5 for juniors and $10 for singles. Hard courts cost $2 for resident juniors and $3 for singles, with non-resident rates at $2 and $4, respectively. Pickleball court rentals are priced per hour: $1 for resident juniors and $2 for singles, with non-residents paying $1 and $3.

Annual and semi-annual memberships are available for clay and pickleball courts. Annual junior memberships for clay courts start at $100 for residents and $150 for non-residents. Single memberships are $150 for residents and $225 for non-residents. Family memberships cost $225 for residents and $338 for non-residents. Pickleball-only annual memberships are $65 for resident juniors and $100 for non-residents, and $100 for resident singles and $160 for non-residents.

The Winter Haven Tennis Center is open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Visitors can obtain a QR code from the Pro Shop for live updates on construction occurring on 3rd Street.
