The Winter Garden Parks & Recreation Department offers various youth camps, including its popular Summer Day Camp and School Holiday Camps. These programs provide structured activities and supervision for children during school breaks.

The Summer Day Camp, which ran from June 1 to July 31, served youth entering first through seventh grade. Campers participated in indoor and outdoor activities, with field trips on select dates exploring local spots. Registration for residents began the week of April 6, and for non-residents on April 20. Weekly fees were $150 for residents and $180 for non-residents. Half the total payment was due at registration.

The department also offers School Holiday Camps for students in kindergarten through eighth grade. These camps feature arts and crafts, sports, and other activities, often at the Jessie Brock Community Center. Students must bring a packed lunch, snacks, and a water bottle daily. The daily cost is $26 for city residents and $32 for non-residents.

Upcoming holiday camps include Thanksgiving Break from Nov. 23 to 25, and Winter Break from Dec. 21 to 24 and Dec. 28 to 31, plus Jan. 1 and 4.

All camps take place at the Jessie Brock Community Center, 310 N. Dillard Street. Parents interested in future opportunities or with questions can contact the Parks & Recreation Department at 407-656-4155. Advance reservations are required and can be made online.
