Winter Garden's Farnsworth Pool and Splash Pad Deliver Summer Aquatic Fun

Winter Garden residents enjoyed a full season of aquatic activities this past summer, with Farnsworth Pool and the Splash Pad providing opportunities for recreation and relief from the heat. Both facilities offered various hours and admission options, catering to families and individuals across the community.

Farnsworth Pool, located at 1 Surprise Drive, operated from May 28 through August 7. The pool was open Monday through Thursday from 2 pm to 6 pm, and Fridays from 2 pm to 5 pm during this period. Additionally, Saturday hours ran from 1 pm to 5 pm between May 2 and August 15, extending the weekend fun for several extra weeks.

General admission to Farnsworth Pool cost $2 for individuals aged 12 and older, and $1 for children aged 2-11. For frequent visitors, family passes were available for $55 for city residents and $80 for nonresidents, covering up to six family members. Adult individual passes were also offered at $30 for city residents and $35 for nonresidents. Any groups planning to visit Farnsworth Pool had to schedule their admission in advance.

The Splash Pad provided a free aquatic option for residents throughout the summer. It was open Tuesday through Friday from 1 pm to 5 pm, mirroring the May 28 to August 7 operational dates. Like the pool, the Splash Pad also had extended Saturday hours from 1 pm to 5 pm, running from May 2 through August 15. Admission to the Splash Pad was free for all.

These summer aquatic programs have concluded for the season, with both Farnsworth Pool and the Splash Pad having closed their doors in August. Residents can anticipate information regarding next year's summer aquatic schedule as spring approaches.
