Winter Garden Holiday Decor Contest 2026 | De-Light-Ful Decorations

Winter Garden residents can showcase their holiday spirit by entering the city's annual 'De-Light-Ful Decorations Contest.' The Parks & Recreation Department hosts the event, encouraging homeowners throughout the city, from historic downtown to neighborhoods near Lake Apopka, to decorate their homes with festive outdoor holiday displays.

The contest is free to enter. Participants can win prizes and local recognition. Homes will be judged in four categories: Best Overall, Best Theme, Most Original, and Best Apartment or Townhome. First place in each category receives $75, and second place receives $50. The Best Overall category offers $100 for first place and $50 for second.

Residents must submit an entry form by Friday, Dec. 11, 2026. Judges will evaluate displays on the evenings of Tuesday, Dec. 15, and Wednesday, Dec. 16, starting at 5:30 p.m. All participating homes must be within Winter Garden city limits.

Winners will receive phone notifications on Friday, Dec. 18. A list of winning displays will be posted on the City of Winter Garden website after the contest.
