Winter Garden students aspiring to careers in medicine can now pursue a combined bachelor's and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree through an accelerated pathway. Florida Polytechnic University and the Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine (OCOM) announced the new program, designed to shorten the time to a medical degree.
The initiative will allow students to complete both their Bachelor of Science and DO degrees in six years. This partnership aims to address physician shortages and improve access to medical education.
