Rapper GloRilla is expanding her brand with a new app designed to connect users with beauty professionals. The GloVerse app, launched Saturday, Oct. 3, aims to streamline the process of finding trusted hairstylists, makeup artists and nail technicians.

GloRilla, whose real name is Gloria Woods, said she created the app after experiencing frustration trying to find services herself. "I need a makeup artist in this city. Who does good hair and who does certain styles? It was nerve-wracking sometimes, and I would have to book whoever is available," she said at the app's launch event.

GloVerse allows users to create a profile, share social media links and connect with beauty professionals. The app made its debut at Atlanta’s Buckhead Art and Company.

In addition to the app, GloRilla is exploring acting opportunities and is reading scripts. She also confirmed new music is in the works, with her sophomore album currently in production.
