Connie Lee Virgo, 79, of Turlock

Connie Lee Virgo June 14, 1946 – May 24, 2026 Connie Lee Virgo of Turlock, California passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026, following a courageous ten-year battle with cancer, just weeks shy of her 80th birthday. Connie was born on June 14, 1946, in Oklahoma to Jack Davis and Loudella Gossage. She was raised in Turlock, where she attended local schools and graduated from Turlock High School in 1964. During her senior year of high school, she married Jim Hill. Later in life, she married Sidney “Sid” Virgo, with whom she shared many wonderful years together. Connie worked alongside her husband Sid for more than 40 years at Sid Virgo Insurance Company. She was known for her dedication, kindness, and strong work ethic, and she treasured the many friendships she made throughout the years. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Davis and Loudella Gossage; her brothers, Jerry and Olen Davis; and her husband, Sidney Virgo. She is survived by her son, Mike (Kristen) Hill of Tennessee; three grandchildren, Davis, Caitlin and Bryson and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. An Open House Celebration of Life will be held in Connie’s honor on her birthday, June 14, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at her residence on Youngstown Road in Turlock.
