Horses on Road 92, Standard, Washington, circa 1905
Two horses in harness pull a wagon down Road 92 at Standard between the other small communities of Clipper and Acme. Road 92 was built in 1886 to connect Road 64 which ended in Acme to Van Zandt, and then later on to Deming. This road would eventually become part of present day Highway 9. The square photo is attached to a black page with photo corners, and written below the photo in white ink is: "STANDARD NORTH TO CLIPPER".
