Westlake Opens Conditional Use Permit Applications - Local News

The City of Westlake Planning and Zoning Department has released its application form for conditional use permits. Property owners and developers can now apply for permits required for specific land uses within the city.

The application requires details about the proposed project, including its name, address, intended use and estimated cost. Applicants must also provide property information, such as the Property Control Number (PCN) and Section/Township/Range, along with owner and agent details.

Key sections cover the property's current zoning, future land use designation, existing uses and the proposed new uses. Information on adjacent properties' existing uses and zoning districts is also required to provide context for the proposal.

The Planning & Zoning Board reviews applications on the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. The City Council meets immediately after at 6:30 p.m. Both meetings occur in the Westlake City Council Chambers at 4005 Seminole Pratt Whitney Road.

Applicants must complete all application sections and submit required documents according to the Conditional Use Application guidelines.
